Valence Surface Technologies Eastman, GEORGIA operations receive a long list of process approvals to support Boeing’s commercial aircraft programs.

In addition to being Nadcap accredited, all Valencia sites provide specialist metal processing and finishing services to a diverse set of fast-growing Aerospace, Defense and Space/Satellite commercial markets. .

Valence Surface Technologies LLC (“Valence”) is pleased to announce that our Eastman, GEO site has received multiple special process approvals from Boeing Commercial and Defense Operations (NYSE: BA). Valence Eastman is a leading provider of surface treatment technologies for engineered products in the aerospace and defense market serving the southeastern region of the United States.

This VST operating site was founded in 2005 and was previously known as Dynamic Paint Solutions. Valence Eastman has expanded the scope of its operations to over 65,000 square feet and currently has over 80 employees at this location. VST remains focused on accumulating a full range of OEM and industrial aerospace approvals to support customers in the region. The Valencia Eastman plant is in central Georgia and has established weekly trucking service to Florida, Alabama, South Carolina, Tennessee and the entire state of Georgia for guarantee customers first-class service and delivery times.

Asked about the significance of these approvals, Managing Director Justin Fordham said: “Valence Eastman is committed to expanding its capabilities to address supply chain issues that continue to plague the aerospace industry. Our team has gone to incredible lengths with the support of Boeing to reinstate our D1-4426 treatment certification. »

The VST Eastman site is part of a nationwide network of processing facilities dedicated to ensuring that OEM-compliant metal finishing is locally available to all companies that manufacture parts for the commercial aviation, defence, medicine and space. Valencia is planning additional investments to expand capacity and approvals in the southeast region to support future growth plans.
